Joel Dávila is a Chicago based percussionist and comedian from DePaul University with a BFA in Comedy Arts. Joel is currently a resident performer at The Annoyance Theatre and Bar, a tour guide for the Wendella Architecture Tours, and part of Broken Planet: The Absurd Cabaret of Apocalyptic Proportions.

Joel was also a Musical Instrument Technician and Front of House Staffer for Blue Man Group Chicago until the show closure in January 2025.

Joel likes to focus his work on a strong sense of silliness and community, pulling influence from the art that affected him as a child - particularly in the music and comedy intersection. Writing in the third person has never been his strong suit, and I want to he wants to take this last section to thank the people in his life for helping him get here, particularly his parents, teachers, professors, mentors, and friends - he loves all of you.
